            Tier I   New Board Members
                                    Legal requirements
                                    Financial reporting
Public meetings and the right to know law

            Tier II Continuing Board Members
                                    Updates

Tier III Leadership and Team Building
                                    Chairs and Vice Chairs

Each activity will be recorded as they occur. Activities will begin in the fall of 2009.

Would you please identify other potential topics for development under each of the three tiers and confirm if the topics above would be appropriate.

Also discussed was the development of opportunities for Superintendents and
other administrators.  Several specific topics discussed were the issues of managing change and using research to support decision-making.  Would you please identify topics
of interest to you and your school unit.
